Then we treat inside, around the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and skirting boards, and outside, around the eaves, windows, doors, outside walls and garden edges. On canal homes, we also check the water side and roof line for signs of rats.

Before we come, it helps to clear out under the sinks and keep pets out of the way. We'll tell you on the day how long to keep off treated areas. Every treatment comes with a 6-month warranty, except rodent control.

If you have a pontoon, boat shed or jetty, let us know when you book. Spiders love building webs on them, and rats like the shelter, so they're worth including in the treatment.
