What happens on the day

If you've never had a pest treatment before, here's what to expect. We'll walk around with you first, ask what you've been seeing and check the problem areas. Then we treat inside, around skirting boards, the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry, and outside, along the walls, eaves, weep holes and window and door frames.

It helps if you clear under the kitchen and bathroom sinks before we come, and keep pets inside or away from the area while we work. We'll tell you on the day how long to keep the kids and pets off treated areas.

Every general treatment comes with a 6-month warranty. If the pests come back in that time, so do we, at no charge. Rodent control is the one exception.

We treat around the outside of the home and the spots where spiders hide, like fences and outdoor furniture. We don't spray kids' play equipment itself, but we'll treat the area around it if redbacks are a problem.

How long does a treatment take?

It depends on the size of the home and what we find. We'll give you an idea when we quote, so you can plan your day.

I'm a tenant moving out. Do you do bond treatments?

Yes. Our end-of-lease (bond) pest treatment covers cockroaches, ants, spiders and silverfish, plus fleas if you've had pets, and you get a certificate on the day for the agent.
