Biggera Waters sits on the Broadwater between Labrador and Runaway Bay. It's a mix of canal homes, older unit blocks, newer apartments and plenty of rentals, with Harbour Town shopping centre on the western side.

Water is the big thing here. Canal and Broadwater homes have rock walls, jetties and decking at the back, which is where rats like to live. Unit blocks are more about cockroaches moving between apartments, and the warm, salty air keeps ants and spiders going most of the year.

Units on the Broadwater have their own issues. Bin rooms and car parks in older blocks can hold cockroaches and rats, and these can spread to the units above. If you're on a body corporate committee, we're happy to quote on treating the common areas.
